Role OverviewThe Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and driving revenue for the interior design division. The role involves handling high-value clients, understanding design requirements, coordinating with the design team, and ensuring project conversion
from enquiry to closure.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Development- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in interiors and fit-out projects.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients (architects, builders, corporates, retail brands, homeowners).
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
2. Client Management- Meet clients to understand design/fit-out requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Present company profile, design concepts, and commercial proposals.
- Build strong relationships to generate repeat and referral business.
- Maintain regular follow-ups to close deals.
3. Sales Operations- Prepare quotations, BOQs, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
- Coordinate with the design, estimation, and project teams for timely delivery of drawings and offers.
- Maintain sales pipeline and track all opportunities in CRM.
4. Coordination & Execution- Conduct site visits to understand project scope and feasibility.
- Ensure smooth handover of project details to the execution team.
- Monitor client satisfaction during the project and post-completion.
5. Reporting & Documentation- Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for management.
- Track competitor activity, pricing trends, and market updates.
Skills & Competencies- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent negotiation & closure skills
- Knowledge of interior materials, furniture, fit-outs
- Ability to understand drawings (2D/3D) added advantage
- CRM and MS Office proficiency
- High customer-interaction skills and relationship-building ability
Educational Qualification- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Interior Design / Any Graduate
- MBA preferred (not mandatory)
