Role Description The Sr. Sales Engineer/Back Office role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for supporting the sales cycle by preparing technical proposals, quotations, and tender documents for liquid, powder, and solid dosage machinery. The position involves collaborating with clients to understand technical requirements, providing product demonstrations (in coordination with the field team), and offering pre-sales and post-sales technical support. The Sr. Sales Engineer/Back Office professional will manage customer inquiries, maintain accurate records in CRM or internal systems, and coordinate with production, service, and logistics teams to ensure timely order execution. The role also includes preparing sales reports, assisting with documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of sales processes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Engineering and technical understanding of industrial or pharmaceutical machinery.
  • Experience in Sales and Customer Service, with the ability to manage inquiries, follow-ups, and relationship-building.
  • Technical Support and troubleshooting skills to assist customers and internal teams with machinery-related queries.
  • Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for preparing proposals, documentation, and client interactions.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering field preferred.
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical machinery or capital equipment sales is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with CRM or ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
