Qualifications Education
- Bachelor s degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a safety engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment (HVAC manufacturing experience is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with safety audits, risk assessments, and OSHA compliance.
Certifications
- OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Safety certification (preferred).
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification (preferred).
- First Aid/CPR certification.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and other relevant safety standards.
- Ability to perform hazard analysis, risk assessments, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to train and educate employees at all levels on safety procedures.
