Job Purpose
The Senior Relationship Manager – Institutional Sales is responsible for achieving assigned sales targets, increasing market share, and driving consistent business growth. The role focuses on acquiring new institutional/corporate clients, deepening relationships with existing clients, maintaining high service standards, and identifying untapped business opportunities across the institutional segment.
Job Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Revenue Growth
· Achieve assigned gross and net sales targets.
· Maximize business from top institutional clients through strong relationship management.
· Conduct client meetings, presentations, and investment discussions with corporate clients.
· Identify high-potential institutional clients to expand the business base.
2. Client Relationship Management
· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective institutional clients.
· Grow share of wallet with key clients through cross-selling and upselling of products.
· Ensure high-quality service delivery across the assigned segment/location.
3. Compliance & Governance
· Ensure strict adherence to SEBI, AMFI, and internal compliance guidelines.
· Support internal audits and regulatory requirements with complete documentation and reporting.
· Promote a culture of ethical selling and regulatory compliance.
4. MIS & Reporting
· Update and maintain client ownership reports monthly.
· Prepare and submit new client MIS to the State/Centre Head.
· Ensure institutional client databases are regularly updated in coordination with sales support teams.
