Job Description
We are seeking a
SeniorRevenue Analyst to join the IT Revenue team and support enterprise-wide
Revenue Accounting, Automation, and Analytics initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of
finance, data, and technology, working closely with upstream systems such as
Salesforce (SFDC), Oracle ERP, and Revenue Accounting platforms.
The candidate will participate in
end-to-end Quote-to-Revenue (Q2R) processes, support revenue system operations, and contribute to
digital transformation efforts, including AI-driven analytics, automation, and reporting. The role offers hands-on exposure to revenue recognition under
ASC-606, enterprise ERP systems, and modern data platforms such as
Snowflake.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Systems & Accounting Support
- Support Revenue Accounting systems and processes, including monthly pre-close and close activities
- Assist with revenue report reconciliations, tie-outs, and audit support
- Participate in revenue engine upgrades, patches, and bug fixes
- Support UAT, regression testing, and use-case validation for system enhancements
- Troubleshoot application and process issues in collaboration with business and IT teams
- Design, document, and test business requirements (BRDs), enhancements, and customizations
Data, Analytics & Automation
- Support testing of Snowflake-based data models and pipelines for revenue analytics and reporting
- Contribute to initiatives such as BI reporting, RPA, disclosures, SSP analysis, and revenue analytics
- Learn and apply best practices for data accuracy, controls, performance optimization, and security
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Revenue Accounting, Finance, IT, and Data teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in enterprise Digital Transformation projects, gaining exposure to full product lifecycle from Quote to Revenue
- Contribute to documentation, SOX controls and operations.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification is a strong plus
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Strong understanding of Accounting fundamentals, Revenue Recognition, and ASC-606
- Familiarity with Quote-to-Cash (Q2C / Q2R) and core finance processes
- Hands-on experience or exposure to Revenue Systems (RevPro preferred)
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language / macros in excel
- Experience or exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle ERP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with BI tools like Domo, Snowflake, data modeling, or analytics platforms
