Key Responsibilities

Category Management

Manage and own merchandising for 2–3 assigned categories across B2B stores.

Plan product assortment, pricing, and stock allocation based on store requirements and sales performance.

Monitor category performance, analyze sales data, and recommend actions to improve sell-through and profitability.

Ensure availability of fast-moving products and minimize stock-outs and overstock situations.

Store Merchandising & Execution

Ensure proper product placement and planogram execution across stores.

Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure merchandising standards and brand guidelines are maintained.

Work closely with store teams to improve product visibility and in-store customer experience.

Inventory & Supply Coordination

Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment and optimal inventory levels.

Monitor stock levels, aging inventory, and drive liquidation strategies where required.

Support demand planning and forecasting activities.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate with frontend/store teams to ensure smooth execution of promotions, launches, and campaigns.

Support promotional planning, product launches, and seasonal merchandising initiatives.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

Track and report category KPIs such as sales, liquidation, stock turns, and inventory health.

Prepare regular reports and provide actionable insights to management.

Identify opportunities to improve category performance and operational efficiency..

Experience

3–8 years of experience in retail merchandising, preferably in B2B retail, FMCG, non apps, or modern trade.

Experience managing multiple categories and working with cross-functional teams.

Skills

Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Good understanding of retail merchandising principles and inventory management.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and retail/ERP systems.

Preferred Skills

Experience in B2B retail or wholesale environments.

Experience in handling store merchandising execution and category performance improvement.
