About the Role
We are looking for a talented React / JavaScript Developer to join our front-end development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive, high-performance user interfaces using React.js and modern JavaScript technologies. You'll collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver engaging, scalable, and responsive web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end components using React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 / SCSS.
- Build reusable UI components and ensure consistency across web applications.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design wireframes into high-quality code.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to architecture decisions, and follow best practices.
- Debug and fix issues, ensuring robust, maintainable, and secure code.
- Stay current with the latest front-end technologies, libraries, and tools.
- Willingness to overlap working hours in the evening/night for team meetings with offshore team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and related tools such as React Hooks, Context API, and Redux.
- Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with frontend build tools like Webpack, Babel, or Vite.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous data handling.
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization techniques.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Next.js or other server-side rendering frameworks.
- Knowledge of GraphQL, TailwindCSS, or Material-UI.
- Experience integrating frontend with backend APIs (Node.js, Python, etc.).
- Exposure to testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud deployments (AWS, Azure).
