Job Title: Sr. Specialist – Quality Engineering

About The Job
The Sr. Specialist works under very minimal or No supervision of the Lead, is technically strong, and can support testing independently. The individual should lead a small team of 3-4 members successfully.
What You Will Do
- Should handle a team of 3-4 members. Identifies and creates test scenarios and test cases.
- Should independently handle Product / Sub System testing.
- Assist for creating an end-to-end test plan, executing the plan, and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected
- Supports Leads in all testing aspects of the project viz: Metrics generation, Reports preparation etc .
- Assists Lead / Manager in test Strategy creation.
- Review Test cases, Test results and Defect Triage.
- Works with business analysts/developers to ensure the developed code matches the documented design.
- Works independently and efficiently.
- Works with the client (onsite support).
- Identifies/creates data for different testing phases.
- Works directly with the development lead /manager.
- Mentors or trains a trainee or fresher .
- Has knowledge of various types of testing.
- Leads the testing aspects of the project.
- Develop Automation scripts using Selenium or Execute Acentra Health Automation framework.
Who You Are
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 7 – 10 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred
Technical Skills
- Excellent knowledge of test plan / strategy.
- Has ability to independently handle and deliver all test deliverables.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle.
- Knowledge of defect tracking/defect life cycle.
- Aware of testing terminology - different test phases and their importance.
- Knowledge of backend testing - experienced in SQL query writing.
- Knowledge of interface testing/reports testing/correspondence testing is a plus.
- Knowledge of creating test plans/testing approach for documents is a plus.
- Knowledge of Selenium (Java) is mandatory for automation analysts.
- Knowledge of any test management or defect tracking tool is a must .
- Good mentoring skills.
- Should be an excellent team player.
- Possess excellent DML skills.
- Excel.
- Any defects in the Management tool.
- Configuration tool.
- Understand functional inputs and solutions.
