OpenText is the market leader in Enterprise Information Management platforms and applications. As a Quality Engineer you will utilize your knowledge and experience to perform systems analysis, research, maintenance, troubleshooting and other programming activities. You become a member of one of our Agile based project teams, focusing on product development. It is an exciting opportunity to design and implement solutions for enterprise level systems.
- Create test plans, test cases and test scenarios
- Handle the testing of assigned components independently
- Participate in test automation and load testing
- Apprise the QA Lead/PM of the status on regular basis.
- Analyze the risks involved in completing the tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field/ MCA with 5-7 years of experience in software development.
- Experience in manual / automated testing of Client-server and web based applications
- Experience in integration/system testing and load testing
- Develop and maintain test strategies and test cases while performing all testing activities including functional, integration and regression testing
- Communicate test coverage, risks to all the stakeholders on regular basis
- Work independently on specialized assignments within the context of project deliverables
- Participating in formal reviews of test plans, designs and requirements documents.

- Essential Skills:
- Selenium scripting
- Maintain the Automation Framework.
- Testing Techniques
- Understanding of SDLC
- Performance/Load testing using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, etc
- Integration/system testing
- Hands-on knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL
- Testing best practices, test coverage, reports
- Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM development processes
- Knowledge of API Testing using open source tools
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of WCAG
