Sr . Quality Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts covering functional, performance, and security testing.
• Test Execution: Execute test cases, analyze test results, and identify defects or inconsistencies in the product.
• Defect Management: Document defects, collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure timely resolution, and perform retesting when necessary.
• Test Automation: Work with automation engineers to identify test automation opportunities and contribute to the creation of automated test scripts.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to verify that resolved defects do not introduce new issues and that system functionality is maintained.
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system scalability and reliability under various conditions.
• Security Testing: Collaborate with security teams to assess and address security vulnerabilities within the product.
• Test Environment Management: Set up and maintain test environments, ensuring they mirror production environments for accurate test results.
• Reporting: Generate detailed test reports, providing insights on product quality and progress to stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior quality analysts, share industry knowledge, and guide them in adopting best practices for testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Python) is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus
• Relevant certifications in quality assurance or testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus
