Sr. QA Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior QA Software Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, with a proven track record of ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will play a key role in the development process by designing test plans, executing test cases, and collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications
• Identify, record, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts
• Perform regression testing and ensure software stability after updates
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on quality and maintainability
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5-10 years of experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
• Experience with performance and load testing tools
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
