Roles & Responsibilities
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will take ownership of the testing lifecycle and drive features through the SDLC to closure. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Collaboration: Attend daily scrum calls and actively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Requirement Analysis: Understand complex technical and functional requirements to plan test coverage.
- Script Development: Build, maintain, and develop functional test scripts using Selenium and TestProject.
- Migration Testing: Execute migration test cases using established frameworks and make code modifications wherever necessary.
- Code Quality & Review: Participate in and lead code reviews to maintain high testing standards.
- Defect Management: Document bugs, issues, and observations clearly using JIRA for tracking stories and defects.
- Timely Delivery: Ensure all sprint and project commitments are delivered on time with keen attention to detail.
Desired Candidature & Skills
Technical Skills (Must-Have)
- Automation Experience: 3+ years of dedicated test automation experience.
- Core Automation Stack (1-4 years): Hands-on experience with Selenium, Java, TestNG, Maven, Git, and GitHub.
- Framework Design: Strong experience working with Data-Driven Frameworks.
- API Testing: Proven track record of automating APIs using Rest Assured.
- CI/CD & Grid: Ability to trigger and manage automated tests using Jenkins alongside working knowledge of Selenium Grid.
- Cross-Browser/Device Testing: Experience utilizing Saucelabs or BrowserStack for cross-platform execution.
- Logging: Experience with log4j for debugging and monitoring.
Preferred & Good-to-Have Skills
- EDS Experience: 8+ years of experience working with EDS is highly preferred.
- TestProject: 0-1 years of experience with TestProject.
- AEM Sites: Prior experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) sites.
- DevOps Basics: Foundational knowledge of Docker.
