Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Web UI Automation using TypeScript and Cypress. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing custom automation frameworks, implementing modern QA practices, and leveraging AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Web UI automation frameworks using Cypress and TypeScript.
• Develop reusable automation solutions and maintain custom automation frameworks.
• Execute end-to-end automation testing for enterprise web applications.
• Integrate automation suites with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows.
• Implement Shift Left QA practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to improve automation productivity and test coverage.
• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and defect validation.
• Validate application data using Relational and Non-Relational Databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of QA Automation experience.
• Hands-on expertise in TypeScript andCypress.
• Minimum 3 years of Web UI Automation experience.
• Experience building custom automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD, and Shift Left QA processes.
• Experience working with Relational and Non-Relational Databases.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience utilizing AI-powered tools for software testing and automation.

Good to Have

• Experience with Python and PyTest.
• Knowledge of Ruby / RSpec.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk and Sumo Logic.
• Shipping/Mailing domain experience.
• Mobile and Device Automation experience.
