Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Purchase/Sourcing professional to manage end-to-end procurement activities for our automotive manufacturing

operations. The role involves supplier management, cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement of electronic components.
• Source ICs, semiconductors, sensors, connectors, resistors, capacitors, relays and other electronic components.
• Identify, evaluate and develop new suppliers and manage existing supplier relationships.
• Float RFQs, evaluate quotations, prepare cost comparisons and negotiate commercial terms.
• Prepare and manage Cost Cards / PFS as per company guidelines.
• Release and manage Purchase Orders and Schedule Agreements.
• Drive cost reduction, localization and supplier development initiatives.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, SCM and NPD teams for sourcing requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance for quality, cost, delivery and capacity.
• Ensure timely availability of electronic components to avoid production line stoppages.
• Support new project sourcing and NPD procurement.
• Manage procurement risks and resolve critical supplier/material availability issues.

Key Requirements

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electronics / E&TC / Electrical.
• 5+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement/Sourcing of electronic components – Mandatory.
• Strong experience in supplier development, commercial negotiation, costing and vendor management.
• Good understanding of electronic components and their sourcing/manufacturing processes.
• Experience in automotive electronics / electronics manufacturing will be preferred.
• PCB/PCBA experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
