Position-Snr. Purchasing Manager-Logistic
Required Qualification: B.E. Graduate with related experience 10 to 12 years
Job Description:
- Manage daily supply chain and BOP parts planning to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Issue/monitor POs and delivery schedules; ensure full supplier compliance.
- Handle BOP press parts sourcing, import tracking, customs, and longlead items.
- Coordinate with PPC, Engineering, Production, QA, Stores, and Finance for smooth operations.
- Conduct vendor audits, evaluate suppliers, and drive continuous improvement (PPAP, APQP, JIT, Kaizen, Kanban, FIFO, PokaYoke).
- Plan raw materials, reconcile inventory, and oversee BOP store activities.
- Develop new suppliers, review drawings, process RFQs, negotiate costs, and finalize sourcing.
- Track development timelines, manage die trials, and support new product development.
- Maintain SAP data, supplier MIS, material accounting, and monthly savings reports.
- Ensure compliance with commercial aspects, taxation, transport, and audit requirements.
- Support internal/external audits and maintain strong communication across all levels.
