Job Description

The role is part of new CTO organisation under Group CIO and focusses on coordination and support of global cloud transformation initiatives by ensuring structured project execution, managing dependencies, facilitating communication across business units/segments, and ensuring alignment with ArcelorMittal's cloud strategy and security frameworks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support planning and scheduling of cloud migration and modernization activities.
  • Assist project leads in preparing detailed project schedules, migration waves, cutover plans, and dependency maps. Coordinate with application owners, architects, and infrastructure teams to align timelines and ensure readiness milestones are achieved.

  • Maintain RAID logs, status trackers, dashboards, and documentation repositories.
  • Ensure accurate and up‑to‑date tracking of Risks, Actions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID). Maintain consolidated dashboards for reporting, update trackers before governance reviews, and ensure all project documentation is correctly stored, version‑controlled, and audit‑ready.

  • Coordinate cross‑functional meetings, circulate minutes, track follow‑ups, and ensure closure of actions

  • Organize and run operational meetings with stakeholders from Cloud COE, Infrastructure, Security, and application teams. Document MOMs (Minutes of Meeting), distribute action items with accountable owners, and track progress to ensure timely closure.

  • Prepare project reports, summaries, analytics, and present to senior project stakeholders

  • Build weekly/monthly reporting packs, executive dashboards, migration status summaries, and KPI updates. Provide data‑driven insights to support decision‑making for senior leadership, including CIOs, Program Directors, and Transformation Office leaders.

  • Assist in cloud readiness assessments, inventory preparation, and migration wave planning

  • Support discovery activities, application profiling, dependency mapping, and technical readiness checks. Contribute to the creation of migration wave plans by consolidating inventory inputs, readiness gaps, and environment preparation statuses.

  • Facilitate communication between Cloud COE (India & Brazil), Infrastructure, Application Owners, and Security

  • Act as a coordination bridge between global and regional teams. Ensure smooth and timely information flow, alignment on priorities, and resolution of cross‑team issues affecting cloud execution.

  • Track vendor deliverables and ensure alignment with timelines, SLAs, and contractual obligations
  • Monitor vendor activities, validate progress against SOW commitments, and escalate any deviations. Ensure external partners deliver quality outputs in line with agreed timelines and expectations.

  • Ensure documentation, compliance, and governance standards are met

  • Follow ArcelorMittal Cloud Governance practices, including architecture governance, security compliance, and project methodology standards. Maintain audit‑ready documentation for all phases of the cloud program.

  • Provide day‑to‑day operational support to Grp CTO office
  • Support daily coordination and management of Group CTO office.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP beneficial)
  • Knowledge of cloud migration methodologies
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes
  • Ability to interpret architecture diagrams, cloud landing zone concepts
  • Strong MS Project, Power BI, and documentation skills
