With a powerful global footprint and a rapidly growing advertising ecosystem, we're looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to drive scaled, high-performance programmatic partnerships across our ad-supported business.
In this role, you'll serve as a key technical support function within our programmatic advertising workflow, investigating PMP and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deal issues, validating technical configurations, and coordinating across internal teams to ensure campaigns deliver with precision.
What You'll Do
- Investigate and troubleshoot PMP and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deal issues impacting campaign delivery or activation.
- Support Ad Success teams by validating technical setup details and identifying potential blockers affecting deal performance.
- Work within a Salesforce-based ticketing system to manage, track, and resolve operational requests.
- Utilize internal deal investigation and diagnostic tools to analyze deal behavior, delivery issues, and platform discrepancies.
- Coordinate with internal operational and technical teams when additional investigation or clarification is required.
- Assist in escalations where Ad Success representatives or Client Success teams are unable to obtain required technical information.
- Review historical deal activity, troubleshooting patterns, and operational data to identify root causes and support faster resolution.
- Ensure accurate documentation of investigations, findings, and resolution steps within ticket workflows.
- Support continuous improvement of troubleshooting processes and operational efficiencies
Who You Are
- You have 3–5 years of experience in programmatic advertising operations, ad tech support, or a related technical role within a publisher, SSP, DSP, or ad network environment.
- You have a solid understanding of RTB auction mechanics, bid request/response cycles, and how PMP and Programmatic Guaranteed deals are structured and executed.
- You have hands-on troubleshooting experience with deal ID configuration, bid floor validation, buyer eligibility settings, and win rate diagnostics.
- You are able to interpret SSP-side reporting to identify delivery gaps, bid shading impacts, and common auction discrepancies.
- You have a working knowledge of VAST/VMAP ad serving standards and familiarity with common VAST error codes and their causes.
- You have familiarity with OpenRTB 2.x parameters including seat IDs, auction types, and deal targeting signals sufficient to support issue investigation.
- You have experience working with ad quality and brand safety tools (e.g., IAS, DoubleVerify) and understand how they interact with programmatic delivery.
- You have exposure to 3P measurement discrepancy investigation across DSP, SSP, and verification vendor reporting.
- You have experience working in ticket-based operational environments (Salesforce preferred) with strong documentation habits.
- You have strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable summaries for internal stakeholders.

Preferred / Plus Skills
- Experience within Magnite's platform (DV+ or Streaming) including deal setup, floor configuration, or buyer management.
- Familiarity with The Trade Desk Deal Lab or similar DSP deal troubleshooting workflows.
- Exposure to header bidding concepts and how wrapper solutions (e.g., Prebid.js) affect deal prioritization.
- Familiarity with CTV/OTT or digital audio programmatic environments and their unique delivery considerations.
- Comfort navigating multiple DSP UIs (e.g., DV360, Amazon DSP, Xandr) to cross-reference deal data from the buy side.
- Exposure to identity resolution frameworks (UID2.0, RampID) and first-party data targeting as they apply to deal performance.
