Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Production Manager (Apparels) based in Bengaluru. The Senior Production Manager will oversee the production processes, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost-efficiency while managing workflow and resource allocation. Responsibilities include collaborating with sourcing offices and factories, monitoring compliance with global standards, providing leadership to production teams, and troubleshooting operational challenges. The role also involves ensuring effective communication and coordination between stakeholders, maintaining production schedules, and driving continuous process improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of production management, workflow coordination, and supply chain processes in the apparel manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in quality control standards, compliance norms (e.g., WRAP, CTPAT, or comparable), and vendor management
- Proven expertise in supervising and leading production teams
- Problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills to manage schedules and meet strict deadlines
- Clear communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in aligning production practices to cost and quality goals
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Apparel Production, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in apparel sourcing or manufacturing environments is an added advantage
