Job Description

Core Responsibilities

1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
   • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand loan origination processes.
   • Document functional and non-functional requirements for LOS enhancements or implementations.
2. Process Mapping & Gap Analysis
   • Analyze current workflows and identify gaps or inefficiencies.
   • Recommend improvements aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
3. System Configuration & Documentation
   • Assist in configuring LOS modules (e.g., application intake, underwriting, disbursement).
   • Prepare detailed BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FSDs (Functional Specification Documents), and user stories.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
   • Act as a bridge between business teams, IT, vendors, and QA teams.
   • Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and requirement sign-offs.

Technical & Functional Oversight

1. UAT Planning & Execution
   • Define test scenarios and cases based on business requirements.
   • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect resolution.
2. Change Management
   • Support change requests, impact analysis, and version control of LOS features.
   • Ensure smooth rollout of new functionalities with minimal disruption.
3. Compliance & Risk Alignment
   • Ensure LOS features comply with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., RBI, AML/KYC).
   • Work with audit and compliance teams to address control gaps.
4. Reporting & MIS
   • Define reporting requirements for loan tracking, performance, and audit trails.
   • Support data extraction and dashboard creation for business insights.

Continuous Improvement

1. Market & Regulatory Awareness
   • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in loan origination.
2. Training & Support
   • Provide training to end-users and support teams on new LOS features.
   • Create user manuals and SOPs.
