About The Role
Product Owner is a high-agility hybrid role supporting technical execution across both the Compliance and Commerce sectors. You must pivot seamlessly between the needs of a retail manager overseeing second-hand inventory and a compliance officer managing global regulatory audit trails.
You will manage the hybrid backlog for Compliance and Commerce, translating roadmap priorities into precise, well-scoped delivery units and driving sprint execution with clarity across both streams.
SECTOR SCOPE
Compliance: Overseeing regulatory documentation systems, global product safety workflows, and specialized ERPs that manage audit trails for highly regulated industries.
Commerce: Scaling specialized retail transaction solutions — particularly in the second-hand retail sector — alongside inventory management and POS systems.

Ensure real-time accuracy between retail POS systems and back-end inventory management databases.
Regulatory Pivot Management
Quickly adapt software features to meet changing global product safety and data privacy laws.
Retail UI/UX Efficiency
Enhance the interface for field-level retail staff to ensure high-speed processing and accuracy.
Sprint Execution: Lead sprint ceremonies, manage engineering velocity, and ensure on-time delivery of committed features across both product streams.
AI & Automation: Identify and specify opportunities for AI-assisted compliance monitoring, document automation, and retail analytics.
What You Bring
6–8 years of Product Owner or Business Analyst experience in B2B SaaS
Demonstrated ability to manage different user personas — from compliance officers to retail managers
Technical background in POS systems or regulatory documentation software
Exceptional organizational skills to balance development priorities across two disparate sectors
Agile certifications (CSPO, PMI-ACP) preferred; strong Jira / Confluence / ADO proficiency
