Our global team of dedicated Pack members is driving innovation and setting new industry standards every day. Our impact speaks for itself: we've earned recognition on the Forbes Cloud 100, CNBC Disruptor 50, Fortune Future 50, and Fortune Cyber 60 lists, and we recently took home the 2024 CRN Products of the Year award. We're proud to be named a

Our Aurora Platform also received CRN's Products of the Year award in the inaugural Security Operations Platform category. Join a company that's not only leading, but also shaping, the future of security operations.

Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to be part of making that happen.

About The Role

Arctic Wolf is committed to our mission to End Cyber Risk, and proactive threat discovery is essential to staying ahead of evolving adversaries. We are hiring a Senior Product Manager Threat Hunting & Detection Strategy who will lead the product strategy for how threat-hunting capabilities and highfidelity detections are delivered to our MDR and SOC customers.

This role focuses on product leadership, customerbacked prioritization, and crossfunctional influence, guiding how threat hunters, detection engineers, SOC analysts, and platform teams work together to identify threats earlier, reduce noise, and deliver measurable operational outcomes.

Position Overview

The Senior Product Manager will own the product vision, roadmap, and cross-functional execution for Arctic Wolf's threat-hunting experience and detection strategy. You will define the why, what, and when of capabilities that empower hunters and detection engineers, while ensuring customer value, operational impact, and business outcomes are central to prioritization.

You will not be responsible for building tools or writing detections rather, you will translate user needs into clear product direction, validate assumptions with customers and internal operations teams, and drive alignment across engineering, research, SOC, and GTM stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Threat Hunting Product Strategy (Primary Focus)
  • Define the multiyear product vision for proactive threat hunting across customer environments.
  • Conduct discovery with SOC leaders, hunters, and CISOs to identify unmet needs, friction points, and value opportunities.
  • Translate threathunting workflows, hypotheses, intel needs, and analysis steps into clear product requirements.
  • Prioritize capabilities that improve hunting efficiency, visibility, consistency, and actionable insights.
  • Define KPIs that measure value e.g., improved hunt coverage, reduced timetodiscover, and conversion of discoveries into repeatable detections.
  • Ensure that hunter workflows and features align with customer outcomes, SOC maturity levels, and market opportunities.
  • Detection Strategy & Operational Outcomes (Secondary Priority)
  • Develop the roadmap for detection coverage, detection quality, and how we use AI to improve our detection approaches.
  • Partner with detection engineering leads to understand rule lifecycles, operational pain points, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Prioritize detection initiatives based on customer impact, false-positive reduction, attacker relevance, faster MTTD and SOC workload reduction.
  • Define product requirements that enhance detection efficacy through better processes, integrations, and operational models.
  • Ensure alignment between hunt findings, threat intel insights, and detection roadmap priorities.
  • AI, Analytics & Proactive Defense Requirements
  • Work with AI/ML and data teams to define product needs for autonomous hunting guidance, anomaly surfacing, and detection recommendations.
  • Translate technical concepts into business value and customer-facing use cases.
  • Establish requirements for humanintheloop controls, transparency, and workflow integration.
  • CrossFunctional Leadership & Alignment
  • Collaborate with SOC, MDR operations, threat hunters, detection engineers, platform engineering, and threat research teams.
  • Lead crossfunctional roadmap discussions, tradeoff decisions, and quarterly planning.
  • Communicate priorities clearly across internal and customerfacing teams.
  • Guide GTM, marketing, and field teams on positioning, messaging, launches, and adoption plans.
  • Product Execution & Delivery Excellence
  • Write compelling PRDs, requirements, and user stories.
  • Manage backlog prioritization using a datadriven approach.
  • Validate ideas through rapid iteration, user testing, pilots, and operational feedback.
  • Measure adoption and value realization postlaunch.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management with 5+ years experience in cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding of threat-hunting methodologies and SecOps workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead roadmap strategy and cross-functional alignment.
  • Experience working directly with SOC teams, hunters, or detection engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ATT&CK, threat intel lifecycle, and common detection languages.
  • Experience with AI/MLdriven security concepts.
  • Security certifications such as GCTI, GCIH, GCDA, CISSP.
  • Background in B2B SaaS product management.
