Position Overview:

In this role, you will support global real estate operations through centralized performance monitoring, data analysis, and process optimization initiatives. You will work closely with regional customers to enhance operational efficiency, standardize reporting, and drive data-based decision-making across the portfolio.

You will contribute to digital transformation initiatives by identifying automation opportunities, improving reporting frameworks, and supporting implementation of innovative tools and workflows that reduce manual effort and enhance transparency.

While the primary focus is global operations and asset performance management, your background in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering will serve as a strong advantage in driving technical innovation, performance optimization initiatives, automation concepts, and data-led improvements within building systems and utilities.

This role provides the opportunity to operate at the intersection of global operations, real estate asset management, and digital innovation.

You'll make a difference by:

  • Contribute to GBS digital transformation roadmap aligned with Siemens global standards
  • Data analytics to improve operational efficiency and location/asset reliability
  • Real-time monitoring and control coordination of HVAC & other critical systems with local operations teams and customers
  • Develop automated alert validation and prioritization mechanisms
  • Implement auto-ticket generation integrated with relevant tools
  • Design dashboards for global HVAC supervising using Power BI or similar tools
  • Develop predictive maintenance models using historical HVAC performance data
  • Implement AI-based anomaly detection for early fault identification
  • Collaborate multi-functionally to drive automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency
  • Create digital workflows to replace manual approval and reporting processes
  • Automate periodic reporting using Power Automate / scripting tools
  • Continuous improvement and innovation for Siemens Real Estate and Internal Business Units processes
  • Ensure documentation, SOP standardization and digital implementation
  • Undertake MIS reporting for HVAC and mechanical utilities globally.

Your success is grounded in:

  • BE / ME / B.Tech – Mechanical/ Mechatronics with strong fundamentals in HVAC engineering to support system analysis and performance optimization.
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC operations or supervising environment to independently manage global remote monitoring and solving activities.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Chillers, AHU, FCU, Cooling Towers, Pumps, and ventilation systems to identify abnormalities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Experience in HVAC performance analysis and optimization to drive energy efficiency, system benchmarking, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical utilities to provide technical expertise across multi-site global operations.
  • Knowledge of BMS / SCADA systems to validate real-time data, perform trend analysis, and support system integration.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics to perform trend analysis, anomaly detection, KPI monitoring, and energy benchmarking.
  • Good English communication skills to effectively coordinate with global customers
  • Advanced MS Office and Power BI / data visualization skills to prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Basic knowledge of automation tools to support digitalization, automated reporting, and reduction of manual monitoring efforts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct root cause analysis and ensure continuous operational improvement.
  • Organized and result-oriented attitude with ability to work under pressure to manage critical incidents within defined SLAs.
  • Strong customer coordination skills and innovation-driven attitude to support multi-functional collaboration and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Flexibility for shift working and mobility to support global time zones and 24/7 monitoring requirements.
