Sr. Principal Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, and optimize complex EAD software components using C++.
• Work on in-design RC extraction, parasitic modeling, and electromagnetic analysis workflows.
• Analyze advanced layout cross-sections to develop accurate physical and electrical modeling solutions.
• Develop scalable and high-performance algorithms for circuit-level analysis and layout verification.
• Implement customer-driven solutions using existing tool capabilities and extend tool functionalities.
• Drive automation and process improvements across design and verification workflows.
• Integrate and deploy AI/ML-based techniques to improve EDA tool productivity and intelligence.
• Manage project execution including planning, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
• Collaborate with global teams across R&D, Product Engineering (PE), and Application Engineering (AE).
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical direction within the team.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term product strategy.
• Ensure high-quality delivery for top semiconductor customers working on advanced nodes.
