About The Role
A Day in the Life
Our Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and Technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes.
This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Minimed's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. Business & IT Alignment
- Act as the single point of contact for business stakeholders for requirement discovery, clarification, and solution alignment.
- Translate complex business needs into clear functional and technical solution designs.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions to drive shared understanding between business, IT, and external partners.
Solution Architecture & Estimation
- Partner with enterprise and solution architects to define end-to-end solutions across CRM, marketing, ERP, and integrated enterprise platforms.
- Perform high-level effort estimation and Tshirt sizing for initiatives, enhancements, and projects.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, integration patterns, and long-term roadmap.
Application & Platform Expertise
- Provide functional and architectural guidance across:
- Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, ERP, finance, supply chain, customer platforms)
- Support evaluation of replacement, carve-out, or standalone solutions as part of divestiture activities.
TSA Exit & Divestiture Support
- Lead and support TSA exit planning for applications across APAC.
- Assess current-state dependencies on Medtronic systems and define future-state architecture for Minimed.
- Work closely with regional and global teams to:
- Identify TSA risks and mitigation plans
- Define timelines, sequencing, and transition strategies
- Support application separation, data migration, and cutover planning
Regional Stakeholder and Program Management
- Engage with business and IT leaders across ANZ, Japan, and China, understanding local business processes and regulatory considerations.
- Coordinate across time zones and cultures to ensure consistent delivery and communication.
- Defines, describes, diagrams and documents the role and interaction of the high-level technological and human components that combine to provide cost effective and innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Promotes, guides and governs good architectural practice through the application of well-defined, proven technology and human interaction patterns and through architecture mentorship.
- Supports the full lifecycle management of the entire IT portfolio including the selection, appropriate usage, enhancement and replacement of information technology applications, infrastructure and services.
SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals.
