Sr. Technical Product Manager Financial Reporting (Payments), you will shape the future of how sellers understand their cash flow, profitability, payouts, fees, and tax obligations. In this role, you will create a trusted, AI-powered financial intelligence platform that empowers entrepreneurs to make smarter decisions and grow with confidence.
You'll lead the evolution of eBay's financial reporting ecosystem, simplifying complex payment data, unifying fragmented systems, and delivering intuitive, customizable insights for everyone from micro-sellers to large enterprises. By leveraging AI and advanced analytics, you'll help surface actionable insights such as order-level profitability, fee optimization opportunities, cash flow forecasting, cost-saving recommendations, and personalized growth signals. You'll transform compliance-driven reporting into predictive, insight-led tools that help sellers reinvest wisely, reduce expenses, and scale more profitably.

You are comfortable partnering with engineering and data science teams to translate models, data pipelines, and platform capabilities into scalable product experiences.

You communicate clearly across all levels from executives to developers and simplify the complex without losing rigor. You develop a long-term product strategy grounded in customer value, competitive differentiation, and evolving industry trends across fintech, payments, and commerce. You Have
- 5+ years of product management experience building data-intensive, fintech, payments, or financial systems products at scale
- Experience translating complex financial or technical requirements into intuitive, high-impact customer experiences
- Strong understanding of payments, money movement, reconciliation, reporting systems, and/or tax workflows
- Experience working with AI/ML-powered features, advanced analytics, or data platform teams
- Proven ability to define and execute strategy in cross-functional, global, matrixed organizations
- Strong analytical skills with comfort interpreting large datasets and driving data-informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills able to influence without authority and make complex topics simple
- Experience operating across global markets and regulatory environments
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
