About The Role - Sr. Platform AI Engineer

In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team that shapes the future of Xactly's AI Sales Strategy. You will serve as the critical bridge between AI Labs and the global Sales organization, taking cutting-edge AI innovations and hardening them into high-impact, customer-ready assets. You will collaborate across teams to solve complex challenges and contribute to delivering high-fidelity AI experiences that prove the value of Xactly's Intelligent Revenue platform to the world's leading enterprises.

What You'll Do

Harden and Package AI Capabilities: Take experimental features and models from AI Labs/Product and transform them into stable, repeatable Gold Standard demo assets that are performant and reliable for live presentations.
Rapid Prototyping and POC Velocity: Partner with Solutions Consulting to quickly adapt existing AI capabilities into bespoke Proofs of Concept (POCs), translating unique customer requirements into tangible, interactive demonstrations.
Engineer Synthetic Data Storytelling: Design and build AI-driven data generation tools to ensure demo environments are populated with realistic, high-depth datasets that showcase the full power of Xactly's predictive insights.
Scale AI Field Impact: Act as the primary technical expert for the field, creating the wrappers and frameworks that allow Sales Engineers to easily deploy and narrate complex AI features.
Feedback Loop for Scale: Solicit feedback from the field to understand which AI capabilities resonate most, providing data-driven insights back to AI Labs and Product teams to influence the long-term roadmap.

Must-Have Skills

What We're Looking For

Solution Building Mindset: 6+ years of experience working on building scalable solutions or products, preferably in a tech-enabled environment (Python or similar exposure is a plus, not mandatory).
AI/LLM Working Knowledge: Hands-on experience working with AI-driven tools or frameworks (like LLM-based applications, RAG concepts, or similar) with the ability to leverage existing solutions rather than building models from scratch.
Prototyping & Storytelling: Strong ability to convert abstract ideas into simple, interactive demos or prototypes and clearly articulate the value and why to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Data Handling & Analysis: Good understanding of data structures, SQL, and working with complex datasets to derive insights and support solution building.
Execution Agility: Proven ability to deliver outcomes in fast-paced environments, especially in roles aligned with business, sales, or customer-facing teams.

Good-to-Have Skills

Domain Understanding: Exposure to Sales Performance Management (SPM), incentive compensation, or sales operations/forecasting processes.
Visualization Awareness: Experience using tools like Tableau or Microsoft Power BI to present insights in a clear and impactful way.
SaaS & Integration Exposure: Familiarity with enterprise SaaS platforms or working with APIs and integrations in a business context.
