Sr. piping designer

Job Description

Support engineers within a specific discipline (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, structural, process) with EPC, Fabrication and Industrial project layout and design including project start-up, scheduling and vendor contacts. Requires heavy interaction with job site personnel and project management on engineering procedures and problem resolution

Assist engineers with initial design and drawing requirements

Establish drawing set-up procedures applicable to the job for CAD personnel

Conceptualize plans, details and sections to accurately convey construction or fabrication requirements

Responsible for checking and back checking drawings produced by CAD personnel

Coordinate vendor supplied drawings or information into project drawings

Design of Piping GA, Plot Plans, Layouts, Orientation drawings, Isometrics, Access Platforms, Pipe Rack

Preparing MTO and isometric drawings by using 3D CADD modeling like PDMS, SP3D, CadWorx Plant4D, & Pro-Pipe

Onsite Coordination, troubleshooting & project management support

Conduct Review Meetings to discuss loopholes, project progress status & fixing Deadlines.
