Sr. Piping Designer/ Design Engineer

Job Title: Senior Piping Designer / Senior Piping Design Engineer

Employment Type: Permanent.

Job Location: Chennai.

Experience: 6+ Yrs.

Qualification: Diploma/ B. E/ B. Tech in Mechanical.

Job Responsibilities:

Create or participate to the design and development activity such as Layout Design, Piperouting, equipment modelling, Support Design, Etc.,

Prepare the Basic Input data sheets per work unit as defined.

Model, design or draft the deliverables in line with the Working Instructions.

Ensure on time delivery of engineering documentation according to the valid workinstructions regarding the project and contractual requirements,

e.g.:

o Equipment Specification.

o Technical Dossier for Procurement comprising of the general technicalspecifications, the equipment specification and other technical requirements.

Participate in design review meetings.

Analyse client's comments and prepare answers duly.

Comply with the forecast dates for information & drawings submission. Provideinformation to follow-up the design progress upon request by Principal Engineer.

Estimate the materials required for addition to overall MTO.

Check & comment external documents (Partners, Sub consultants, etc)

Coordinate his job with the other team members and report to the Principal/ LeadEngineer.

Take care of as-built documentation.
