MTS SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER



The Role

We are looking for an adaptive, self-motivative design Physical design engineer to join our team. As a key contributor, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD's abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market..

The Person

The person should have 6-9 yrs of experience in Physical design . You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/timezones. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Physical Design closure of critical partitions in the leading IPs that goes into multiple SoCs.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Hands on Place and Route , and experience in one of the signoff aspects of PD eg, timing or physical verification
• People have testchip floorplan and physical verification will be preferred
• Should have worked on lower technology nodes
• Should have worked on 3-4 tapeouts.
• 6-9 years of experience in Physical Design.
  
  

Academic Credentials

• Bachelors or Masters degree in electronics engineering/Electrical Engineering
