Your new role

As a Sr P&O Partner - HRBP & Projects, you will anchor end-to-end HR business partnering and act as a trusted advisor to the Business Director on all people-related matters. You'll play a critical role in driving Novo Nordisk's culture across Business Units, enabling organizational effectiveness, and strengthening employee engagement and performance.

Day-to-day your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with Business Leadership to drive people strategy aligned to business priorities
  • Driving the performance management and appraisal process, including analysis of the reward matrix
  • Overseeing hiring, performance management cycles, and succession planning
  • Developing and executing retention strategies while tracking attrition trends and initiating targeted interventions
  • Acting as an employee advocate by surfacing concerns to the BU Head and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Leading the Evolve Employee Satisfaction Survey, including result analysis and facilitation of manager action-planning conversations
  • Owning employee relations and disciplinary matters for the BU, including conflict resolution and disciplinary proceedings
  • Conducting regular employee connect sessions and proactively assessing organizational climate
  • Leading and contributing to people projects such as Best Place to Work, wellness and stress-related initiatives, and people dashboards

Your new department

In Product & Portfolio Strategy we drive commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across all therapy areas. We act as a connector and compass, guiding the new Novo Nordisk portfolio for sustained competitiveness upstream, and maximising portfolio potential through successful commercial strategies and competitive launches downstream.

Within this dynamic environment, you'll be part of the People & Organisation team supporting critical business units. Your role will be instrumental in enabling our business leaders to build high-performing, engaged teams that deliver on ambitious goals while maintaining the warmth and respect that defines our culture.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a strategic HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, business-focused environment. You'll bring with you:

  • MBA in Human Resources with proven experience as an HR Business Partner
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably from Tier 1 / Tier 2 institutes, with progressive exposure in reputed organizations
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and presentation development, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated experience driving performance management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and advise senior business leaders
  • Prior experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
  • Strong employee relations acumen, including experience managing conflict resolution and disciplinary matters
