Help Amazon Prime Video scale its outbound marketing programs across India, South East Asia and Australia-New Zealand market segments. Your mission is to drive customer engagement and retention through strategic ownership of outbound marketing channels: email, push notifications and WhatsApp, with a particular emphasis on driving automation and personalisation at scale.
This is an exciting opportunity which requires a talented marketeer to help Amazon Prime Video scale its outbound marketing programs. This role requires a data-driven marketer who can turn insights into actionable CRM strategies to drive strong engagement outcomes while working with multiple stakeholders across different regions. The marketer will need to think across multiple business lines like SVOD, Prime Video Channels & Movie rental formats to define user journeys, segmentation & messaging across channels.
This role requires strong business and customer first acumen and offers exposure to multiple senior stakeholders within Amazon Prime Video. As this function has direct impact to business outcomes, it is a perfect fit for an ambitious, strategic, self-starter with deep CRM/personalized marketing knowledge and who's particularly energized to accelerate growth through outbound (in-app & out of app) channel innovation and looking for new areas to learn and scale. The candidate should be an experienced marketer with deep customer marketing knowledge, and experience driving engagement and retention across different market contexts. Candidates will have experience working cross-functionally across internal teams, as well as an aptitude for data analysis and a good understanding of outbound/direct marketing channels. A mind for innovation, thinking big, and learning through testing is highly valued. This role will be based out of Mumbai, working closely with teams across IN, SEA and AUNZ regions.
Key job responsibilities
This is an individual contributor role. Sharp analytical skills, high ownership and customer obsession, and proven ability to prioritize ruthlessly to achieve results will be critical to succeed in this role.
- Own outbound channel strategy across APAC: Full ownership of outbound marketing strategy and execution across email, push and WhatsApp channels for IN, SEA and ANZ markets. Formulate region-specific outbound strategies considering target customer segments, competitive environment, channel strengths, and areas to invest for future innovations.
- Drive automation and personalization at scale: Manage, improve and innovate personalized marketing programs across outbound channels. Ensure top-line growth while continuing to improve on channel engagement and channel health metrics. Drive the use of automation to increase scale and reduce manual effort across regions.
- Manage end-to-end campaign lifecycle: Own the full lifecycle of complex outbound campaigns - from strategy and segmentation through creative briefing, execution, measurement and optimisation. Support and drive campaigns for key retail events, title launches and engagement marketing across APAC.
- Dive deep into performance and optimize: Analyse engagement, retention and channel health metrics across regions. Identify patterns and trends, define experiment frameworks, and manage execution of A/B tests to continuously improve outbound effectiveness. - Influence global product and adapt locally: Interface with global outbound product and tech teams to advocate for regional needs and hold them accountable to driving performance in APAC. Adapt, localise and implement new features and tools for regional markets. Contribute to and manage experiments from a regional perspectivet level of data quality.
- Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration: Develop strong relationships and work collaboratively with content leadership, content marketing, storefront, programming, product marketing and central marketing/tech teams to achieve shared goals. Lead with confidence and conviction in prioritizing levers across market segments.
- Develop guidelines and train stakeholders: Develop, implement and train stakeholders on outbound best practices, guidelines and principles. Audit use of outbound features and ensure compliance with channel health standards across regions.
- Articulate strategy and results to leadership: Write up proposals, testing roadmaps and campaign reviews for weekly/monthly/quarterly views of progress against targets. Own cadenced reporting and narratives (MBR/QBR) and present them effectively to senior leaders.

This team takes full ownership of customer engagement which requires a solid grasp of key engagement metrics and a track record of high performance across different market segments
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Significant experience in CRM, outbound or direct marketing. Managing end-to-end outbound/direct marketing campaigns across email, push and/or WhatsApp channels
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience in multi-territory campaign management across APAC or similar diverse markets
