Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement high-performance, scalable, data-centric serverless microservices.
  • Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out applications with cross-functional impact.
  • Own continuous improvement and fine-tuning of API performance, scalability, and security.
  • Independently design, code, and test major features, as well as collaborate with other team members to deliver complex changes.
  • Apply a flexible approach to analyzing technical issues and clearly communicate recommendations and solutions.
  • Work proficiently within agile development methodologies.
  • Deliver consistent results with minimal supervision.

Technical Skills

  • Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience.
  • Excellent background and understanding of web application technologies and techniques.
  • Back-end expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, REST, and Microservices architecture.
  • Strong experience with MongoDB and NoSQL databases.
  • TypeScript experience is highly desired.
  • Proven ability to define and implement effective software development methodologies.
  • Experience in developing large-scale, consumer-facing microservices solutions is highly recommended.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
