Job Title: Senior Network & Security Engineer

OSI Digital is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Palo Alto (firewalls, Panorama), Arista Spine-leaf and Cisco ISE. The candidate should possess extensive experience in traffic analysis, rule base review, network access control, and data center migration projects. This role requires a proactive professional who can ensure the efficiency, security, and compliance of our client's enterprise network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Palo Alto & Panorama
- Manage, configure, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.
- Analyze network traffic and firewall rules to ensure compliance and security.
- Review, audit, and optimize security policies and access rules. o Identify and block vulnerable ports/services to strengthen network defense.
- Perform rule base clean-up, removing unused or redundant rules.
- Ensure best practices are followed for firewall and Panorama operations.
Network Access Control (NAC)
- Implement and manage 802.1X authentication.
- Administer and troubleshoot Cisco ISE for NAC and policy enforcement.
- Integrate NAC solutions with security infrastructure.
Migration Projects
- Lead or support data center migration activities from legacy to modern environments.
- Ensure minimal downtime and smooth cutover during migrations.
- Validate switch-to-firewall traffic paths and ensure seamless connectivity.
Security & Network Operations
- Provide end-to-end analysis of network and security flows.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance issues across network layers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen enterprise security posture.
Required Skills
- 10 to 12 years of professional experience in network security engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Palo Alto Networks firewalls & Panorama.
- Proven experience in rule analysis, clean-up, and traffic analysis.
- Solid understanding of network access control (802.1X, Cisco ISE).
- Good Understanding of static Routing and Dynamic Routing like BGP OSPF and EIGRP.
- Hands on exposure on Arista Spine-leaf architecture.
- Experience in data center migration and large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Deep knowledge of switch traffic paths, firewall integration, and network security design.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Palo Alto certifications (e.g., PCNSE, PCCSA, PCNSA).
- Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP Security, CCNP Enterprise).
- Experience with multi-vendor environments and security best practices
