We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Network Engineer to lead the evolution and maintenance of our enterprise network infrastructure. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be the backbone of our network operations. You won't just manage the network; you will oversee the entire workflowfrom high-level design and vendor governance to resolving the most complex escalations. You will play a pivotal role in adopting emerging industry trends and ensuring our infrastructure is both resilient and innovative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Design & Roadmap: Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to create platform strategies and roadmaps. Identify opportunities to adopt emerging industry trends.
- Infrastructure Oversight: Design, implement, and manage the lifecycle of enterprise network systems. Create and maintain detailed network/traffic flow diagrams.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead projects, meet deliverables, and provide technical development and guidance to junior engineering staff.
- Proactive Management: Monitor performance and capacity to identify potential bottlenecks. Proactively recommend software and systems to meet business requirements.
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Act as the final escalation point for issues of high complexity, performing deep-root cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes.
- Vendor & Partner Governance: Oversee vendor management and partner governance to ensure systems are deployed and managed effectively over their entire life cycles.
Requirements:
- Technical Mastery: Expert knowledge of hardware components, software, and networking technologies (Cisco IOS, NXOS).
- Routing & WAN Expertise: Specialized in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and SD-WAN.
- Analytical Rigor: Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex network traffic issues using tools like Wireshark.
- Communication & Influence: Ability to translate complex technical strategies into user-friendly language for diverse audiences and negotiate effectively with business customers.
- Agility: Capable of prioritizing multiple concurrent assignments in a fast-paced, customer-service-oriented environment.
Qualification:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent advanced-level experience.
- Experience: 57 years of relevant industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer.
