About the Role


Looking for an adaptable Sr Network Engineer (L3) with extensive knowledge in F5 Load Balancers and Data Center LAN Fabric. The role involves deploying and supporting high-availability, scalable, and secure network solutions for enterprise, private cloud, and data center environments.


Key Responsibilities

F5 Load Balancer (Mandatory)

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain F5 BIG-IP solutions (Local Traffic Manager, Global Traffic Manager/Domain Name System, Application Security Manager, Application Performance Management).
  • Optimize application delivery, performance, and reliability.
  • Integrate F5 with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex load balancing and application delivery issues.
  • Manage documentation for F5 configurations and operational guidelines.
  • Guarantee conformity with change control and security policies.
  • Engage in on-call rotation and assist with maintenance tasks outside of regular working hours.

Data Center LAN Fabric (Highly Desirable)

  • Implement and coordinate contemporary network frameworks like EVPN, VxLAN, and SDN or equivalent experience in data centers and cloud environments.
  • Operate switches, routers, and fabric controllers (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Versa, NSX).
  • Optimize network performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot fabric health using tools (NetFlow, Grafana, SolarWinds).
  • Document network designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with change management and security standards.
  • Support maintenance and participate in on-call rotation.

DNS (Nice-to-Have)

  • Understand DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions (Infoblox, F5 GTM/DNS).
  • Grasp DNS reliability, security, and performance across hybrid environments.
  • Understand DNS resolution mechanics to differentiate and diagnose DNS vs VIP impairments.
  • Implement DNS security best practices (DNSSEC, RPZ, threat mitigation).
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve DNS-related issues as needed.
  • Maintain documentation for DNS operational procedures.
  • Adhere to change control and compliance standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and support maintenance during off-peak hours.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise-grade network engineering.
  • Deep expertise in F5 modules (LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM, APM) and iRules scripting.
  • Expert in network fabrics (EVPN, VxLAN, SDN), data center LAN switching, and automation (Python, Ansible).
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, HTTP/S, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, ACLs, DHCP, DNSSEC.
  • Experience with F5, Cisco, Arista.
  • Certifications: F5 Certified Administrator/Expert, CCNP
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
