Mechanical Design - Special Purpose Machines and Assembly Automation
Job Description :
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software Autodesk Inventor.
- Develop detailed drawings and specifications for components and assemblies
- Analyze and optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and performance.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation such as BOMs, drawings, and test plans.
Skills Required :
- Proficient in 3D model software - Autodesk Inventor
- Statistical tolerance calculations / GD&T
Additional knowledge / experience :
- Automation technologies applicable for automotive industry
- Understanding of manufacturing process
- Materials and Heat treatment / Surface treatment
- Industry standards, codes and regulations
Additional Information :
Minimum 4 years of experience in design of special-purpose machines / process machines / assembly and testing machines is a must
