Job Requirements

Job Title: Senior Manager – Strategy & Business Development

Role Purpose

To support the organization's growth initiatives by identifying new opportunities, tracking industry trends, and assisting in building strategic relationships across markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opportunity Identification
  • Conduct research to identify new business areas, sectors, and expansion opportunities
  • Prepare initial feasibility notes and opportunity briefs
  • Market Intelligence
  • Track industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging sectors
  • Compile periodic reports with actionable insights for senior management
  • Event & Exhibition Participation
  • Identify relevant domestic and international exhibitions, trade fairs, and conferences
  • Attend events (as required), gather insights, and prepare structured reports
  • Relationship Support
  • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with industry leaders, partners, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate and support scheduling of meetings with CMDs / senior executives
  • Institutional Outreach
  • Support engagement with Embassies, trade bodies, and industry associations
  • Track opportunities arising from government and international collaborations
  • Business Development Support
  • Assist in evaluating partnerships, collaborations, and new initiatives
  • Support preparation of presentations, pitch decks, and briefing notes

Experience

Work Experience

  • 5–10 years in strategy, business development, consulting, or research roles

Skills

  • Strong analytical and research capabilities
  • Good networking and coordination skills
  • Effective communication (written & verbal)
  • Proficiency in presentations (PowerPoint) and data analysis
