Liquidity Services Software Solutions offers an online, private-label auction platform, supporting traditional auction-house clients, retail liquidators, and resellers through a SaaS (Software as a Service) delivery model leveraging the Auction.IO platform and stand-alone private-label platform delivery. The team includes a small Sales and Operations group in Richardson, Texas (USA) and a delivery center in Chennai, India.

The Sr. Client Delivery Manager will oversee project planning, resource allocation, and delivery tracking for the Chennai-based team, while serving as the primary escalation point for internal stakeholders and client issues.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining delivery governance, operational execution, and customer engagement.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of accounts by building and maintaining long-term partnerships with clients, conducting virtual meetings to review performance, and coordinating with the respective delivery teams. You will work with Sales and Renewals team members to identify opportunities for renewal, expansion, and upsell. You will collaborate closely with Operations, Technology, and Senior Management to ensure an exceptional client experience.

The goal of this role is to strengthen relationships and expand engagement with existing clients, while providing on-site management and oversight of the Chennai-based delivery teams.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery Oversight & Execution
  • Provide centralized oversight across three delivery teams supporting multiple SaaS marketplace clients
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of:
  • Client customizations
  • Enhancements and reports
  • Defect resolution and software patches
  • Establish and enforce delivery processes, timelines, and SLAs
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for client delivery issues for the Enterprise Large and TPL platforms
  • Work closely with US-based stakeholders on client expectations and priorities
  • Ensure clear communication of project status, timelines, and risks
  • Drive resolution of escalations with urgency and accountability
  • Project Management Leadership, Client Engagement, and Escalation Management
  • Lead and mentor 3-5 Project Managers responsible for day-to-day execution
  • Monitor project health and proactively address risks, blockers, and dependencies
  • Standardize project management practices (planning, tracking, reporting)
  • Conduct regular delivery reviews and performance tracking
  • Track and produce reports on resource utilization and capacity planning
  • Resource & Capacity Management
  • Client Success & Account Partnership
  • Partner with Sales and Renewals to support retention, expansion, and upsell motions
  • Lead periodic client reviews (QBRs/regular check-ins) focused on outcomes, KPIs, and roadmap alignment
  • Own the escalation path for account-level risks and drive cross-functional resolution
  • Coordinate staffing across teams based on priorities and workload
  • Optimize allocation of developers, QA, and support resources
  • Provide forward-looking capacity planning aligned with:
  • Client demand
  • Product roadmap
  • Support obligations
  • Partner with leadership and HR team on hiring needs and team scaling
  • Operates as the local leadership for the delivery center
  • Operational Governance & Reporting
  • Maintain real-time visibility into:
  • Project status across all clients
  • Team utilization and throughput
  • SLA adherence and backlog health
  • Deliver regular reporting to executive leadership, including:
  • Delivery metrics (on-time delivery, velocity, defect rates)
  • Resource utilization
  • Risk and issue tracking
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This role will directly supervise the project managers and provide personnel oversight to the delivery center
  • As the senior leader in the facility, you will work closely with the office manager and US leadership on facility matters
  • This role may also serve in an additional capacity as the local director. This requires online attendance at quarterly board meetings.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in software delivery, project management, or engineering operations
  • 3+ years managing project managers or delivery teams
  • Proven experience managing multi-client SaaS delivery environments
  • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks
  • Experience overseeing teams working on a shared platform with client-specific customizations
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines

Skills

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet search skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and timely.
  • Understanding of auction marketplaces is a plus
  • Familiar with contract development, market analysis, and pricing strategies
  • Experience with Jira, GitHub, or similar tools for tracking engineering work and collaborating with technical teams
  • Basic understanding of how to employ AI technologies

Ability

Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in an office environment

Work Conditions/ Physical Demands

Work regular office hours with periodic extended hours to meet deadlines and/or to overlap with US based customers and team members.

Be available for client support escalation during off-hours and on weekends, as needed.
