What You'll Do

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and growth-driven Senior Manager – Sales to lead Eaton's Power Quality business in the Government sales and alliance with leading system Integrators and partners.This role requires strong leadership, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive revenue, profitability, customer engagement, and market development. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional relationship-building capabilities and a strong understanding of the electrical / UPS solutions market.

Job Responsibilities

  • Revenue & Gross Margin Achievement

Meet and exceed annual revenue and margin targets.

Develop strategic account plans to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.

  • Market Share Maximization

Strengthen Eaton's position in the territory by increasing penetration across target segments.

Identify opportunities for expansion and competitive differentiation.

  • Key Account Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, consultants, and stakeholders.

Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer challenges and proposing the right Eaton solutions.

Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Receivables & Compliance

Ensure healthy cash flow by monitoring account receivables and driving timely collections.

Partner with finance and operations to ensure flawless execution.

  • Business Development & Segment Expansion

Develop new accounts and customer segments to expand Eaton's footprint.

Identify new applications and emerging use-cases for Eaton solutions.

Increase customer base and drive deeper penetration in the Government segment.

Seed Eaton solutions with consultants, influencers, and end customers to secure long-term business opportunities.

  • Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel 50%-60% for client meetings, partner interactions, and market development.

  • Business Analytics & Market Intelligence

Maintain strong market intelligence related to competitors, customer trends, and technology shifts.

Analyze insights to guide territory strategy and future actions.

Present actionable business recommendations to leadership.

  • Marketing & Promotion Activities

Identify promotional opportunities within the territory to support business objectives.

Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns, events, seminars, and digital initiatives.

Drive brand visibility and strengthen Eaton's market positioning.

Qualifications

Education level required

  • B.E. in Electrical & Electronics (preferred)
  • MBA in Marketing / Sales will be an added advantage

Years And Area Of Experience Required


  • 10-15 years of experience in power backup / UPS / Data Center / Smart Solutions for SMDC / electrical solutions sales

Technical knowledge

  • Strong understanding of UPS products, power quality solutions, and related technologies, Business processes and buying methodology

Soft Skills


  • Strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Strong Negotiation Skills – Ability to influence customers to drive sales outcomes ethically.
