Role Purpose
Lead the restoration, conservation, and preservation of artworks and collectibles, ensuring their authenticity, condition, and long-term value while adhering to global conservation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess artwork condition and develop restoration and conservation plans.
- Manage restoration projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and cost efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain condition reports, treatment records, and conservation documentation.
- Implement preventive conservation practices for storage, display, handling, and transportation.
- Collaborate with internal specialists, collectors.
- Advise stakeholders on restoration requirements, preservation risks, and collection care.
- Ensure compliance with conservation ethics, industry standards, and risk management protocols.
- Drive continuous improvement in conservation processes and collection preservation.
