- P and ID's preparation for Utilities (Clean & Black)
- Should have experience in Basic & Detail Engineering for Mechanical, Piping, Instruments, pharmaceutical
Water System, Capacity analysis, Sizing and selection of equipment.
- Project Planning and control, Project Procurement in Pharmaceutical domain
- Preparation of load list.
- Preparation of Equipment list for utilities.
- URS preparation for clean & black utility generation system.
- Should have been involved in the formulation (Solid Products - Tablet/Capsules etc.) Facility + Sterile
Facilities and API'S
- Experience in API and Biotech is an added advantage
- Candidates having experience in formulation and API/Biotech will be preferred over single domain knowledge
- Knowledge in managing the pre-commissioning, commissioning of a wide range of utility system.
- Software: AutoCAD and MS office is a must
- Good communication skills
- Team player

Competencies
- Familiarity with relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides.
- Skill in reading, interpreting and using related documents and drawings prepared by other project groups.
- Knowledge of the application of engineering and construction materials related to the discipline's design
responsibilities.
- Basic knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, design criteria, and codes relevant to the discipline.
- Knowledge of mathematical formulae and design calculations used in the discipline.
- General knowledge of technical responsibilities of other groups is associated with the total design effort.
- Skill in leading the technical work of less experienced designers/draftsman who share in the design effort.
Educations Qualifications
- Degree in B.Tech / M.Tech (in Mechanical) is must from a recognized University.
Experience Bracket
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, within the pharmaceutical Industries.
- In-depth experience of utilities management (compressed air, water, steam, chilled water etc.), and clean utilities
like purified water, WFI, PSG.
- Strong background in managing mechanical systems in compliance with GMP, FDA, EMA, or other relevant
regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of managing and executing capital projects, including cost management and schedule
adherence.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with other departments (e.g., Production, QA,
Facilities).
Skill Sets
- Expertise in mechanical systems design, operation, and maintenance in a pharmaceutical manufacturing
environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex projects from concept through execution.
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory standards (GMP, FDA, EMA, etc.) related to mechanical engineering in
pharmaceutical facilities.
- Ability to perform system analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with validation protocols, including IQ, OQ, and PQ for mechanical systems and equipment.
- Proficiency with engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and mechanical systems analysis tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to manage teams and interact with senior
management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
