Job Description – Sr. Manager / Manager, Process Excellence & Quality (Markets)

As our Markets business scales in volume, complexity, and risk exposure, strong process governance, quality control, and operational discipline become critical. This role sits at the core of ensuring our systems and processes are reliable, auditable, and continuously improving.

About The Role

We are looking for a Process Excellence & Quality Lead to build and drive the process governance, audit framework, and continuous improvement charter across the Markets function.

This role will act as an independent quality layer, ensuring processes are:

  • Clearly defined and documented
  • Consistently followed
  • Continuously tested and improved

You will partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to standardize processes, strengthen operational controls, and lead a team responsible for quality audits and process adherence.

What You'll Do

Process Excellence Strategy & Governance

Own and drive the Process Excellence & Quality charter, roadmap, and execution strategy

Define the process health framework, quality philosophy, and audit approach

Establish governance mechanisms:

  • Leadership dashboards
  • Governance reviews
  • Reporting cadence

Drive alignment across Markets, Product, Operations, Analytics, and Tech teams

Process Mapping & Standardization

Lead end-to-end process mapping across all Markets sub-functions

Ensure 100% process documentation in a centralized repository

Drive 100% SOP coverage across functions

Implement SOP lifecycle management:

  • Version control
  • Review cadence
  • Update governance

Process Audits & Quality Management

Design and implement audit frameworks and quality measurement systems

Define audit coverage strategy and execution cadence

Lead and manage a team of Quality Leads

Identify:

  • Process deviations
  • Compliance gaps
  • Operational risks

Ensure audit findings translate into actionable improvements and closures

Process Improvement & Transformation

Identify inefficiencies and risks through:

  • Audit findings
  • Data insights
  • Stakeholder feedback

Drive Process Improvement Plans (PIPs)

Implement corrective and preventive actions with business teams

Ensure sustainable adoption of process improvements

Data, Reporting & Insights

Build and manage process health dashboards and KPIs

Track process maturity, adherence, and operational performance

Present leadership reports highlighting:

  • Trends
  • Risks
  • Improvement opportunities

Team Leadership

Manage and mentor Quality Leads

Define audit methodologies, standards, and reporting frameworks

Build team capability in:

  • Audit depth
  • Process understanding
  • Data-driven insights

You'll Excel in This Role If You Have

Core Requirements

5–8 years of experience in:

  • Process Excellence
  • Quality / Audit
  • Operations or Risk

Strong experience in:

  • Process mapping
  • SOP creation
  • Governance frameworks

Proven track record of driving cross-functional process improvements

Experience managing audit programs or quality frameworks

Strong stakeholder management and leadership communication skills

Preferred

Experience in fintech, financial services, trading operations, or regulated environments

Exposure to process excellence frameworks

Experience with tools like:

  • Confluence
  • Workflow / documentation platforms

Strong analytical capability with dashboards, metrics, and reporting
