Revenue Owner - Digital Assets (Life Insurance)



Why this role exists

Our app and website already bring customers in

We're looking for someone who owns the revenue outcome end to end. This role is to increase premium and APE collection from our digital journeys by improving how products are presented, how journeys flow, and how customers are nudged at the right moments.

What you'll own

You'll be accountable for incremental digital revenue coming from

.App and website journeys

.Renewals, upsell, and cross-sell flows

.CRM and in-app communication tied directly to revenue

Success in this role is simple revenue goes up because journeys and content got better.

What you'll do day to day

1) Drive revenue from digital journeys

.Own digital revenue targets across Term, Endowment, ULIP, and Annuity products.

.Improve conversion and premium through

.Journey optimization and drop-off reduction

.Rider attachment and sum-assured optimization

.Contextual cross-sell and renewal nudges

.Maintain a clear revenue backlog with quantified impact (conversion uplift, premium, APE).

2) Translate insurance products into digital experiences

.Build strong working knowledge of products, riders, eligibility rules, and disclosures.

.Turn complex product constructs into clear, compliant, conversion-focused content.

.Partner closely with Product, Actuarial, and Operations to identify digital-first monetisation opportunities.

3) Own revenue-impacting content (with compliance)

.Own all content that influences revenue across owned channels

.App and website journeys

.SEO pages, CRM journeys, in-app messages

.Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines and required disclosures.

.Act as the first compliance filter before Legal review to reduce iteration cycles.

4) Work cross-functionally to get things shipped

.Collaborate with Product, Marketing, UX, Engineering, Compliance, and Analytics.

.Provide clear business context and prioritisation, not just requirements.

.Balance revenue ambition with delivery and regulatory reality.

5) Measure what matters

.Track and report digital revenue performance

.Product-wise premium and APE

.Funnel conversion and drop-offs

.Incremental revenue vs baseline

.Present insights and action plans in monthly and quarterly reviews.

What we're looking for

Must-have

.2-3 years of experience in digital revenue, growth, monetisation, or business roles
(insurance or BFSI experience strongly preferred).

.Working knowledge of Term, Endowment, ULIP, and Annuity products.

.Strong understanding of IRDAI compliance for digital content.

.Comfortable owning numbers and working across teams.

Good to have

.Exposure to app/web analytics, CRM journeys etc.

.Familiarity with tools like Excel, BI dashboards, GA/Firebase, or CMS platforms.

.Experience working on regulated digital products.
