Role Cloud and Network Security

Qualification / Experience (No of years & type) / Age

.Bachelor in computer science/IT/, M.C.A. or equivalent University degree

.Overall, 7-8 years of experience, out of which 4 years in the Cybersecurity and 2+ years in cloud /network security.

.Experience in reviewing security rules and configuration of security solutions in area of network and cloud

.Understanding security tools and processes for monitoring security threats of cloud and Network

.Strong communication and collaboration skills

Certifications (Preferred)

.CEH or Certified Incident handler (CIH)

.Other certifications include CCNA security, CCSP, Cloud Service Providers specific AWS, Google, Azure etc.

Key Role and Responsibilities

lOversee the management of AWS cloud and network security infrastructure and support team to strengthen the security posture in these areas.

lManage security alerts and events on network and cloud security tools.

lEvaluate security tools, products and managed services for effectiveness, business fit and ROI

lReview security rules and configurations and suggest improvement areas and get them implemented

lDrive PoC (Proof of Concept) evaluation to support procurement decision based on technical evaluation output.

lDocument SOPs, playbooks and design document system environments, cloud operations, and security tools.

lCreate reports, dashboards, metrics, and presentation on cloud security and network for committee/other purposes.

Functional competencies

lProficient in cloud infrastructure, services, and security tool

lKnowledge of communication protocols, networking and security tools

lknowledge of layered security approach and regulatory requirements (DPDP, IRDAI, CERT-IN)

lKnowledge of security best practices, standards and frameworks.
