As an ERP Senior Manager, you will act as the central command for ERP implementation and operations, taking full ownership from concept to execution and beyond. This role is not just strategic but highly execution-driven requiring you to work closely with internal teams to extract real business requirements, translate them into system logic, coordinate with vendors, and ensure final delivery is fully functional and adopted on ground.
You will be responsible for building the ERP backbone of the organization, ensuring that all departments operate on a unified, automated, and data-driven platform.
Responsibilities
1. End-to-End ERP Ownership
. Take complete accountability for planning, execution, and success of ERP implementation
. Drive ERP from zero to fully functional system across all business units
. Define clear milestones: requirement design development UAT go-live stabilization
. Ensure ERP aligns with real estate lifecycle (land construction sales handover CRM)
2. Requirement Gathering & Business Understanding
. Work deeply with each department to understand actual working processes (not just documented ones)
. Conduct workshops with:
o Construction teams (project tracking, BOQs, billing)
o Procurement (vendor management, material flow)
o Finance (cash flow, budgeting, compliance)
o Sales & CRM (inventory, booking, collections)
. Convert business inputs into clear functional requirement documents (FRDs)
3. Data Collection & Vendor Coordination (Critical Role)
. Act as the single point of contact between business teams and ERP vendors
. Personally ensure:
. Data is collected from internal teams in correct format
. Data is cleaned, structured, and validated before sharing
. Hand over structured data and requirements to ERP vendors
. Continuously follow up and ensure:
o Vendor understands exact requirement
o No misinterpretation in logic or workflows
. Receive configured modules / outputs from vendor
. Test whether:
o System reflects real business scenarios
o Data flows correctly across modules

4. ERP System Implementation
. Oversee configuration of ERP modules:
o Project Management & Construction Tracking
o Procurement & Inventory
o Finance & Accounting
o Sales & CRM
. Ensure all modules are fully integrated and not working in silos
. Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with real case scenarios
. Ensure smooth go-live with minimal disruption to operations
5. Process Standardization & Automation
. Identify gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies in current processes
. Design standard workflows within ERP
. Reduce manual work by automating approvals, reporting, and tracking
. Ensure compliance and audit readiness through system controls
6. Data Management & Accuracy
. Ensure high data accuracy and integrity across modules
. Manage:
o Master data creation (vendors, materials, customers, projects)
o Data migration from legacy systems (Excel/manual records)
. Establish checks, validations, and governance policies
7. Reporting & MIS
. Build dashboards for leadership covering:
o Project progress
o Cost vs budget
o Sales and collections
o Inventory movement
. Ensure real-time, reliable MIS for decision-making
. Reduce dependency on manual reporting
8. System Ownership (Post Go-Live)
. Act as owner of ERP system across organization
. Continuously:
o Monitor system performance
o Resolve issues and bugs
o Coordinate enhancements with vendors
. Plan and implement:
o New modules
o Upgrades
o Customizations based on business growth
9. Training & Change Management
. Train teams across levels to ensure actual system usage (not partial adoption)
. Handle resistance from teams shifting from manual to ERP
. Create:
o SOPs
o User manuals
o Training guides
. Ensure ERP becomes daily working tool, not just reporting system
10. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
. Manage multiple stakeholders:
o Internal leadership
o Department heads
o ERP vendors / consultants
. Ensure:
o Timelines are met
o Deliverables are quality-checked
o Communication is clear and structured
