Kaleyra.io Configuration and Provisioning (CNP) Product Owner
About the role
This is a Product Owner role for the internal Configuration andProvisioningService of ourCpaaSplatform (kaleyra.io) within the Product Team of the CIS (Customer Interaction Suite) BU of Tata Communications.
The role reports insolidline to the ProductManagerforCpaaSCore Service.
Configuration and Provisioning team ownsCpaaS-related functionalities such as: sign-up and login flow including integration with external Identity Provider for SSO, customer account and subaccount creation and management, platform users creation and management, internal management console for theCpaaSplatform, authentication and authorization, role management and role-based access management, integration with other internal BSS/OSS system.
In this role, you need to align with overall product strategy and roadmap and translate that in requirements and priorities for engineering teams to work on.
This role is focused on the inside of the organization needing strict collaboration with and guidance of engineering team related to sprint priorities,qualityand timeline of the deliverables to be released in production.
Also, this role will require frequent discussions with other Product Owner and Product Manager for theCpaaSPlatform and with internal stakeholders such as TCL Billing/Finance and Operations teams.
You'llwork with the Core Service Product Manager, with other Product Owners fromkaleyra.iocore services and channels, with Engineering and Operations Team and other internal stakeholders contributing to the execution of the product strategy and roadmap.
Responsibilities
Following are the main duties the role requires for theConfiguration and Provisioningservice:
Owns the how and what next at the execution level
Acts as the bridge between strategy (PM) and development (Engineering)
Identifyopportunities for product improvements and drive iterative enhancements
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-prioritized, refined, and aligned with business goals
Drivesprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews with cross-functional teams
Translate high-level product strategy into clear user stories in BDD format, acceptance criteria, and actionable tasks.
Provide clarity on features to engineering teams as needed
Share product impacts
Prioritize backlog items based on value, risk, and dependencies.
Incorporates feedback into backlog
Be available to clarify requirements and make day-to-day decisions with the dev team.
Ensure sprint goals align with roadmap priorities.
Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria and user expectations.
Workclosely with engineering, design, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality product increments
Ensurealignment across stakeholders, proactively managing expectations and communication
Support UAT and release readiness activities.
Final sign-off on sprint output
Tracks delivery KPIs
Requirements
A modern product-led mindset, with a demonstrable ability to express and think in terms of outcomes and not just outputs
Excellent problem-solving skills with a bias for action
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle management
Strong communicationskills. Can clearly articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide decisions
Experience in analyzing requirements of broader product initiatives and deriving detailed user stories forenggteam
Ability to break down complex problems into structured, executable plans
Experience in acceptance criteria definition and validation
Able tovalidatethe deliverables fromenggteam to be deployed in production
Able tomonitorthe release plan and raise a flag in case of blockers or delays
Minimum 3-4 years of experience as Product Owner or Product Manager forCpaaSor SaaS product
Minium 3-4 years of experience in working with engineering team providing priorities and clarity on features to be developed
Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira and Confluence at least)
Proficient in written and spokenEnglish
