Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Improvement and Sustenance of Supplier Part Performance (In-House)
- Execute supplier process audits and ensure closure of OFIs (Opportunities for Improvement).
- Monitor and improve PPM (Parts per Million) and CPA demerits for supplier parts.
- Re-PPAP of current parts.
Improvement and Sustenance of Supplier Part Performance (Warranty)
- Analyze warranty returns and implement product quality improvement using quality management tools.
- Continuous updating of Lessons Learnt Library (LLL) rulebook to ensure adherence during the development process.
- Implement actions identified from JDP IQS survey for supplier parts.
Supplier Engagement and Capability Enhancement
- Support training and upgradation activities for supplier representatives.
- Implement supplier kaizen improvement initiatives through BIQ.
- Ensure DOL (Delivery on Line) status for identified suppliers and monitor PPM improvement initiatives.
Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain data for process audits, warranty, PPM, and timely closure of PRR (Problem Resolution Reports).
- Track and report implementation of improvement actions.
