Role Description

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sr. Manager - Collections & Recovery person to manage and strengthen our collections function. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in handling collections operations within the Salaried loan or short-term lending space and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong team management, recovery strategy planning, agency/vendor coordination, and portfolio monitoring skills to ensure healthy collection efficiency and controlled delinquency levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end collections process across assigned portfolios.
• Develop and implement effective collection and recovery strategies.
• Monitor delinquency buckets, recovery trends, and collection performance metrics.
• Handle escalations and critical recovery cases efficiently.
• Coordinate with agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders for smooth collections operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and fair collection practices.
• Track team productivity, collection efficiency, and portfolio health regularly.
• Prepare MIS reports, recovery analysis, and performance dashboards for management review.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen collection workflows.
• Build and mentor a high-performing collections team

Key Requirements:

• 3–8 years of experience in Collections/Recovery within NBFCs, fintechs, payday loan, or short-term lending companies.
• Strong understanding of collections lifecycle and delinquency management.
• Experience in handling tele-calling collections and agency management.
• Good analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a high-growth and fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to relocate to Udaipur is mandatory.
