JOB Description :
Business Development:
- Identify / tap new partner & customer for new and existing products in terms of size, growth potential & revenue generation and Identify products that could be site transfer (CMO) from the customer / partner portfolio.
- Design, Plan & Implement entry strategy for MENA region.
- Develop & implement key processes related to product planning & pricing and its distribution for API products across MENA region.
- Commercialization of product- by implementing full marketing / production plan and fill the distribution pipeline.
- Coordinate with planning / Operations / SCM team on sales projection for the region and final supplies.
- Facilitate customer Audits at the GIL site in coordination with cross functional team.
- Prepare & propose marketing budget for new products for the next 5 years (Part of Short and Long-term Strategy).
- Plan deal approaches, handle sales contract, negotiation of terms & deal closing.
Market Intelligence
- Conduct competitor analysis to achieve marker / region share metrics for new products.
- Conduct SWOT analysis to determine opportunity for new product on segment size, market potential, margin and to understand strengths & threats.
- Emerging Market Analysis & Strategy Support and evaluate competition
- Gap Analysis and Financial evaluation
Customer Relationship Management
- Building strategic alliances
- Develop & build strong business relationship with customers & regional partners.
- Ensure timely respond to customer queries related to product, logistics, prices etc.
- Follow up calls & visit customers at regularly intervals to understand their needs / concerns.
- Participate in pharma major events / exhibitions
Team Building & Leadership
- . Build & encourage mutual trust & cooperation among team members
- . Facilitate constructive resolution of conflict
- . Direct & help team on its KPI and performance criteria
- . Facilitate & identify training needs of the team members
Qualification & Experience :
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline, preferably supplemented with an MBA or specialization in Business Management, along with 10–15 years of relevant professional experience.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical industry in leading functions like Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Alliance Management, Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management.
- Deal with licensing agreements, co-promotions, strategic alliances and other types of corporate collaborations. Should possess excellent network with Global Pharmaceutical community and relationship with key decision makers.
- Professional with good understanding of Generics Pharmaceutical Industry including Finished Dosage and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients preferably in B2B model.
- Good understanding of Regulatory requirements and Intellectual Property for filing pharmaceutical products.
Skill :
- Strong understanding on tender process
- Experience in Algeria is highly preferred
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen to develop sound business strategy. Good process orientation to develop management systems & processes.
- Should able to build strong relationships both within & outside the company; and collaborate seamlessly with key stakeholders to drive business results.
- High ethical standards; excellent judgment; personal / professional integrity, demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit & flexibility.
