Sr/lead java developer

Location: Bellandur, Bnagalore, permanent position

Required exp: - 5 yr to 15 yr for CMMI 5 MNC client

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled backend developer with strong expertise in Java and AWS. cloud technologies, and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for

designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend systems and cloud-native microservices that support high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices using Java

• Build and enhance RESTful APIs to support high-traffic web and mobile applications

• Develop cloud-native solutions and deploy applications on AWS using services such as EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch

• Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s)

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for backend services

• Optimize system performance, scalability, reliability, and security

• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, architects, and product managers

• Support CI/CD automation and deployment best practices

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on programming experience in Java

• Proven expertise in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM and CloudWatch

• Solid understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) and container orchestration

• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines

• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and DynamoDB

• Good understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and scalable architecture

• Experience working in Agile development environments

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices frameworks

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

• Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka, SNS, or SQS

• Knowledge of application monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana

• Understanding of secure coding practices and cloud security standards
